Researcher and lecturer. I take methods from research into systems that run in production.
Research, teaching, systems.
Dr. techn. from TU Wien. I lecture at WU Vienna, FH BFI Wien and FH Campus Wien and was Adjunct Professor in Bangkok for ten years. I have worked with agent-based models since 2001, and my planning systems have run in regulated production since 2020. I write the code myself, with agents assisting and testing. Every project gets my personal attention, from the first plan to production.
How the work grew.
Research led to teaching, and teaching led to systems that have to hold up in daily production.
Agents and decisions under uncertainty.
Agent-based modelling, policy and market simulation, and decision methods. First at TU Wien and WU Vienna, then in applied projects. The methods are documented under Research.
Methods people can apply.
WU Vienna, universities of applied sciences in Vienna and ten years as Adjunct Professor in Bangkok. I teach decision methods and agent-based modelling so that students can apply them to their own problems.
Planning that has to hold.
In regulated manufacturing since 2020. Decisions can be traced, models are validated, and the data stays on the operator's premises.
Self-hosted, on infrastructure you own.
The systems I build run on the operator's own infrastructure, in the EU, self-hosted or on premises. All data stays on site, and the operator decides who has access.
